Introduction to Prophecies

CALENdeRsign addresses the issue of today's Gregorian calendar as an anachronism. About 1500 years ago, its yearly count was developed on the foundation of an astronomical period from an arbitrary birthdate for Jesus Christ to the time he was supposed to return from the heavens.
More about on Turn of Age Part I and Part II.
CALENdeRsign states that this 2000-year period was used to subjugate the people of the world by enforcing observances established by the Catholic church, which absorbed many old, pagan observances.
CALENdeRsign believes in freedom of choice, and that people should choose how to live their lives, not simply follow in the same old pathways based on the worship from the ancient world view.

On occasion the opinions of CALENdeRsign will appear in the articles.
CALENdeRsign is not out to argue against Christianity or become involved in anti-religion polemic, but to show that much of religion is baseless.
CALENdeRsign's aim is to promote knowledge about the connection between myth and astronomy and promote interest about the true origins, past, and future of the calendar.
From this point of view you should consider the prophecy-pages, because at base of any prediction stands a precalculation.

It is not our job to fight Christianity, but if we contradict Christian dogma, we stand firmly on our facts.

Please see how religious predictions influenced the start of the calendar and how Papal tradition is focuses on its end.

Introduction
to the archeoastronomical interpretation
of the Apocalypse

Feeling myself deeply sad and sick at heart with all people who were killed, have lost relatives and friends, or are involved with terrorist acts in USA and elsewhere, I have written this as an introduction to my astronomical interpretation of the Revelation (Apocalypse), which I finished two days before the attack of 11 Sept. by chance.

After the terrorist attack, some people's reaction was that it was a punishment from God for national sins. One hoax claimed it was forecast by Nostradamus, prophet of the Middle Ages, while a number of people claimed it represented punishment described in the book of Revelation. What is the truth? Just what does Revelation have to tell us?

The circumstances of the 11 Sept. attack and its threatened consequences show us all that religious themes are involved. We don't know yet the exact motif of the terrorists, but the locations that were hit let us know it was an attack on the main symbols of Western civilization, whose base is Christianity. The people who planned it seemed to have worked like players of a global chess, attacking with knight (airplanes), (suicide-) pawns (the towers (WTC), the queen (Pentagon), and the king (White House). In that terror game, airplanes and even skyscrapers are used as weapons to strike the heart of the enemy. This example shows you that from almost any point you can look at this drama. How the terrorists planned the date may come out some day, but it was a Tuesday, the day dedicated to Planet Mars, who represents the former Greek God of war, Ares. To choose this day sounds like a symbolic declaration of war. The Sept. 11 attack shows us the danger of religious fundamentalism, which tries to derive power on Earth from God and thus manipulates people, who think to fight in this way against the devil. In fact both opponents seem to accuse each other of being the devil! And it seems both are going to start a devilish game. Reading " The day after" as a headline in some news comments and hearing officials calling for a crusade, it becomes evident that the Christian side also is going to be mobilized. My calling and my sense of life is to warn of the danger of playing any kind of game in any relationship. Game- playing with using Christian roots or doctrines is very dangerous for any player, because there is a still hidden Christian foundation that steers us all unconsciously: the Gregorian Calendar. This basically religious calendar decrees for us every day and every year. But its yearly count was designed and adjusted to fulfil Revelation, a very powerful and fearsome prophecy.

I want to warn against putting the framework of Revelation or Nostradamus over the events of 11 Sept., because it is too easy to see in the four airplanes the four apocalyptic horses; in Manhattan, the old Jerusalem; or in WTC, the two brothers. By seeing the tragedy in that way, the game will go on like the prophecies said, and finally we are all willingly going to fulfil it and destroy our wonderful world. My aim is to avert a pattern of revenge for a revenge which never ends. "An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind; and a tooth for a tooth makes it dumb." (An ear for an ear would make it deaf too and we would come to the status of the well known three apes). Let's step out of that religious paradigm that links personal or national behaviour with worshipping Gods, religious literature and stars or heavens. Why not use a calendar just for measuring time, not forcing it to fit tradition and religion. What I want to do is demonstrate the astronomical and calendrical content of the Revelation, because it exists, without a doubt. Let's be aware of that religious plan while looking for the hidden truth. A hidden danger is more fearful than one that can be known. Everyone should decide afterward, if he still wants to fight with a flaming sword like the archangel Michael.

To look inside, I only use the key that John of Patmos himself left us, when he said: "The seven stars are the seven spirits of the seven cities." For me, this makes Revelation an astronomical message that needs to be carefully decoded using archeoastronomy and mythology. In anticipating the result of my research, it appears to me that Revelation has been used as a tool to enslave believers, who follow the instructions of their religious guides like sheep, as the crusaders did in the middle ages. We should refuse to be one of the sheep anymore! Why not be more aware and more alert when something smells fishy, as it seems to be now. The adjusting of the yearly count of the Gregorian calendar causes a similar problem like the Millennium bug in some computer programs. In other words, the Gregorian calendar is not "new age" compatible. Because the yearly count was adjusted to fulfil Revelation in the year 2000, it is a very dangerous time bomb that can be defused however by revealing Revelation. It will not be possible to force people of other religions, especially the Islamic, to use this calendar. One way out of this discrepancy may be to develop a new nonreligious neutral time calculation that would be acceptable to everyone and would preserve a shift into New Age without a clash.

It would be easier to avoid global war if we could lock up all the weapons, but to defuse a calendar being used as a religious weapon, we need only show that it is a fiction. The believer may see that his fears are groundless and move forward to a new paradigm for a new dimension of time, which he can't enter even under a secularised old paradigm.

May your worldview bless you, and peace be with you!
