It was first (new age) sign of Christians, the short cut IHS you still find in many Christian churches.


Some interpret the letters IHS as representing "I Have Suffered" or "In His Service", or in a Latin version Iesus Hominum Salvator (Jesus, Humanity’s Saviour).
